I have the wonderful opportunity to spend some time this summer in England and France. All of the children who have been in Mrs. Teague's class or Mrs. Owens' class have studied these countries, so I hope to share my experiences with those students especially!
I will also be spending a day visiting an elementary school in Battle, England. The principal there has invited me for a visit, so hopefully it will be the beginning of a fun and productive relationship between both of our schools!

Sainte Chappelle
This beautiful church was actually built to hold relics collected during the crusades. Right next to it is the prison where Marie Antoinette and other victims of the guillotine were imprisoned.
